About the Event
“Writing is a spiritual practice in that people who have no spiritual path can undertake it, and as they write, they begin to wake up to a larger connection….we should write because humans are spiritual beings and writing is a powerful form of prayer and meditation…that brings clarity and passion to the act of living.” ~Julia Cameron, Author of “The Artist’s Way
In my work as a nurse, massage therapist and artist, I've come to believe that when we intentionally cultivate connections with God, with others and with our own beautiful souls, space is created for movement toward wholeness. I believe this connected space is where healing happens and throughout my life, journaling has been a doorway to this connection. I believe in its power and it remains my most constant self-care practice. In this interactive and reflective workshop, we’ll explore various journaling techniques and practices together. All levels of experience are welcome. Small journals and pens will be provided for use during the workshop but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
